13th. | If chens could kill...

... if only. Hello people of Earth and beyond. Hope all's good. Nothing much to report. Just wanted to stop by and post. Let you all know my heart is beating, and I'm alive and well.

Today I'd like to talk about eating out. It's a great feature to the American lifestyle. Now listen up, because this is big. It's time to go to McDonald's again. MickeyD's is having a great sale right now on their beverage selection, only $1 per drink. That's right, no matter how big or how small, 1 dollar. Simply astonishing, really. Cheap, and refreshing. And afterwards, just run it through the dishwasher and just like magic -- you have yourself a nice plastic cup. It's a win win. In other fast-food related stories... I went to Taco Bell the other day and got myself the regular -- a Crunch Rap Supreme with a medium size Mountain Dew. As we pulled up to the speaker to order, my eyes beheld a glorious sight. Nachos.........$.89 WOWZA! It's kinda rare when we hit Taco Bell, so I decided to live it up. Needless to say, I got the nachos. Pretty delicious, might I add. But the highlight of all this, cheap food is on a comeback.

12th. | Colorful

Happy Sunday, all. Just got back from Church, Tigers game will be on in 5 min., don't have too much time, just wanted to post.

I've been thinking lately... If you're a true artist, you'll figure out soon enough that just learning how to draw, isn't enough. Being the artist I am, aspiring that is, I of course already realize this and am thus ambitious to do all sorts of other artistic work. So what all have I been working on? Drawing obviously, and as you know I've been writing these past few weeks -- songs, poems, stories, etc. (By the way, I'll get to posting them soon... hopefully!) So, what am I lacking? Color. I need to learn how to color my drawings. How? Well, my buddy over at the comic store, Stephen Sharar, said before he would teach me how to water color. I think I'll take him up on that offer. With that being said, don't forget to visit my first-love comixHub, and see my forays into the wonderful world beyond black and white.

11th. | I'm sorry, I could've sworn you said, "FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!"?

It's that special time of year again... Or, well -- for a comic-geek anyways. Anyhow, make sure to hit up all your local comic shops, and see what all the geeks are raving about! Plenty of neat stuff, posters, comics (obviously), etc. But don't be a cheapskate, make sure you (or the person you're with) at least buy something. So, happy venturing -- and make sure to spread the word to all the kids in the neighborhood.
